Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020025335A1] The invention relates to a coupling support for a central buffer coupling of a rail vehicle, comprising a first holding plate and a second holding plate, wherein the holding plates can be secured to the body of the rail vehicle. Additionally, the coupling support has a base which is arranged between the holding plates and a crossbar which is arranged between the holding plates. The crossbar is elastically coupled to the base and is arranged above the base. A first rocker arm and a second rocker arm are arranged on the base such that the rotational point of each rocker arm is arranged below the crossbar, and the rotational points are connected to the base. Each of the upper parts of the rocker arms is connected to the crossbar by means of an articulated connection such that a movement of the crossbar away from the base is restricted by virtue of the articulated connections and a movement of the crossbar towards the base is allowed by virtue of the articulated connections.
