[origin: WO2019233760A1] The refrigeration appliance has a flat rear-wall element (3), which is arranged on the back of the usable space (2) and forms a cooling air channel (6a, 6b). In the rear-wall element (3), a fan (10) is further arranged with which the air can be conveyed from the usable space (2) through the cooling air channel (6a, 6b) and back into the usable space (2). The air is cooled by a cooling element (40) which is arranged on or in the cooling air channel (6a, 6b). The inlets and the outlets of the cooling air channel (6a, 6b) are arranged on the edges (8a, 8b, 8c, 8d) of the rear-wall element (3).
