[origin: WO2019233763A1] The invention relates to a securing system for plug connectors (8, 11), having an adapter (7, 10) and a housing part (3, 4) with at least one plug space (6, 9) with interfaces for receiving the adapter (7, 10). The exterior of the adapter (7, 10) has interfaces for positioning in the plug space (6, 10) of the housing part (3, 4). Furthermore, the adapter has an interior geometry for receiving a plug connector (8, 11). The exterior of the adapter (7, 10) and the plug space (6, 9) of the housing part (3, 4) are designed to form a primary securing device (15) for securing the adapter (7, 10) in the respective plugs space (6, 9) when the adapter (7, 10) is inserted into a defined plug position in the plug space (6, 9). In order to secure the adapter (7, 10) in the plug space (6, 9), a secondary securing device (18) is provided which can be plugged into the housing part (3, 4) up to a defined end position. The secondary securing device (18) is designed to also secure the plug connector (8, 11) in the adapter (7, 10) in the end position.
