[origin: WO2019244032A1] The invention relates to a moon-phase display device for a timepiece, comprising: a first display member (80) bearing a plurality of first images (81-86) representing, at least partially, the moon; a display zone; and drive means (22, 23, 25, 40, 41, 43, 63, 71, 72, 61, 62) arranged to move the first display member (80) in successive jumps with reference to the display zone, in order to display a succession of moon images. The device is original in that the lengths of time for which the first images are displayed are not all equal.
