[origin: WO2019245374A1] Method for deploying an object, such as an off-shore wind turbine foundation or subsea installation, from a vessel (1), the method comprising: providing a vessel comprising a submersible cargo deck (6) and a heavy lift crane (3), wherein the object is present on the cargo deck; submerging the cargo deck to a position below a level of the water; lifting the object from the submerged cargo deck using the heavy lift crane (3) to a desired position overboard, at least partially below the level of the water; and releasing the object at the desired position.
