[origin: CA3104361A1] In order to provide a flexible transport assembly (2) for a long stator linear motor (1) which can be used in a more flexible manner for the transport of products, the transport assembly (2), according to the invention, comprises a transport unit (20) and a product carrier (21), wherein: the transport unit (20) and the product carrier (21) each have at least one guide element (201, 211) arranged in the movement direction (x); the transport unit (20) has drive magnets (M1, M2) arranged in the movement direction (x) for driving the transport unit (20); and the product carrier (21) is drive-free and can be coupled via a coupling point (K) to the transport unit (20) and can be driven by the transport unit (20) via the coupling point (K).
