Said insulating glazing unit extends along a plane, P, defined by a longitudinal axis, X, and a vertical axis, Z; has a width, W, measured along the longitudinal axis, X, and a length, L, measured along the vertical axis, Z, wherein the length, L, is equal to or greater than the width, W; and comprises a first glass pane (1) facing the blast wave, a second glass pane (2) and a spacer (3), maintaining a distance, D, between the first glass pane and the second glass pane.
