[origin: WO2021078968A1] The present invention relates to a timepiece (1) comprising a case, a movement and a vibration-generating device which are intended to produce at least one sound and are housed in said case, a device (16) for amplifying the vibrations generated by said vibration-generating device, and a membrane arranged to receive said amplified vibrations and to generate a sound from the inside to the outside of the timepiece. Said vibration-amplifying device (16) comprises a lever (20) which is pivotably mounted on a support (22) in a pivoting plane not parallel to the plane of the membrane and which is arranged to be actuated by a transmission member cooperating with the vibration-generating device to transmit the vibrations to the lever (20), said lever (20) being also secured to the membrane at least in translation in the pivoting plane such that a displacement of the transmission member generated by the vibration of said transmission member in connection with the vibration-generating device and transmitted to the membrane via the lever actuated by said transmission member generates an amplified displacement of said membrane, so as to generate an amplified sound.
