[origin: WO2020002060A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a part (1) comprising a support (2) made of a non-electroconductive material, said support (2) being provided with at least one cavity (4) filled with an aesthetic element (3) made of an electroconductive material, said aesthetic element (3) forming a decoration on a face (2a) of the part (1), which is intended to be visible, the method comprising: a step of inlaying by pressing a preform intended to form the aesthetic element (3) into said at least one cavity (4) of the support (2); and a step of electrochemical surface treatment of the aesthetic element (3), said at least one cavity (4) leading to at least one area on a face (2b) of the part (1), which is intended not to be visible, in order to respectively form at least one contact point (4b) allowing the application of current during the surface treatment on the aesthetic element (3).
