Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Nackenkissen oder Reisekissen. Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung ein Reisekissen (10), welches als im Wesentlichen u-förmiges Nackenkissen gestaltet ist und einen ersten Schenkel (12) und einen zweiten Schenkel (14) aufweist, welche durch ein Mittelteil (16) verbunden sind, wobei der erste Schenkel (12) in einer ersten Schenkelspitze (22) endet und der zweite Schenkel (14) in einer zweiten Schenkelspitze (24) endet und das Reisekissen (10) eine umlaufende Innenseite und eine umlaufende Außenseite und eine Oberseite (18), eine Unterseite (20) sowie eine Mittelebene (M) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Reisekissen (10) ein Verstärkungsband (30) aufweist, welches vom ersten Schenkel (12) durch das Mittelteil (16) zum zweiten Schenkel (14) verläuft.
