Abstract (en)
A cap for a hearing device being configured to be inserted in the ear canal of a user is disclosed. The cap includes a dome-shaped part comprising a channel for receiving an acoustic signal from an output unit at a sound inlet and an opening connected to said channel, a first wax filtering element comprising a sound outlet, the first wax filtering element protruding from the dome-shaped part and being arranged to bridge the opening of the dome-shaped part, and a second wax filtering element. The second wax filtering element at least partially protrudes from the dome-shaped part and/or from the first wax filtering element into a space between the first wax filtering element and the dome-shaped part, wherein the first wax filtering element and the second wax filtering element define a sound path from the channel to the sound outlet.
