[origin: WO2020007767A1] The invention relates to a device for coupling electrical grids, in particular a direct-current grid, for example a motor vehicle electrical system, to a single-phase alternating-current grid or a further direct-current grid, the device having a non-inverting DC-DC converter (B1) and an inverting DC-DC converter (B2) each having a first input and/or output and a second input and/or output, the first input and/or output of the first DC-DC converter being connected in a series with a first converter valve (R1) to form a first series circuit and the first input and/or output of the second DC-DC converter being connected in a series with a second converter valve (R2) to form a second series circuit, the first and second series circuits being connected in parallel and the second inputs and/or outputs of the DC-DC converters being connected in parallel, and the connection points of the parallel circuit of the series circuits being connected to a first input and/or output (L1, N) of the device according to the invention and the connection points of the parallel circuit of the second inputs and/or outputs of the DC-to-DC converters being connected to a second input and/or output (DC1, DC2) of the device.
