Abstract (en)
A sealing system for an axial turbomachine comprises:- a circle of blades (10) with an outer shroud (11) and a first sealing fin (12; 13) projecting away from said outer shroud;- a seal surface (21) opposite to said first sealing fin; and- an, in particular grooved, static fin (30; 60) with at least one fin flange (31A, 31B; 61) for restricting flow between the seal surface (21) and the outer shroud (11), wherein the static fin (30; 60) is stationary with respect to the seal surface (21).
