[origin: WO2020016495A1] The invention concerns a separating partition device (100) for a motor vehicle, arranged to separate a passenger compartment from a cargo space, comprising a door (20) mounted to pivot between a closed position and an open position, and a device (30) for securing the door (20) in the open position. The securing device (30) comprises - a strut (300) having a first anchoring end (301), secured to a fixed part, such as a frame (101), of the separating partition device (100) by an articulated link, and a free end (302); - a recess (200) for receiving said free end (302) of the strut (300), provided in the door (20), - an element (201) for retaining the free end (302) of the strut (300) in its receiving recess (200) exerting a retaining force opposite to a direction of extraction from said receiving recess.
