[origin: WO2020015851A1] The invention relates to a method for depositing banknote sheets printed with a sheet-printing machine on a delivery stack, wherein a plurality of banknote sheets are stacked on top of one another on a delivery shelftable (3) as an intermediate stack (2), wherein a sheet (4) made of paperboard is arranged on the delivery shelftable before the stacking of the banknote sheets on the delivery shelftable, wherein, after the stacking of the banknote sheets on the paperboard sheet on the delivery shelftable, the intermediate stack is removed from the delivery shelftable along with the paperboard sheet and multiple intermediate stacks are stacked on top of one another along with the respective associated paperboard sheets to form a final delivery stack, such that, a leaf made of paperboard is arranged between two respective neighbouring intermediate stacks of banknote sheets for stabilising the final delivery stack of banknote sheets is arranged between two respective neighbouring intermediate stacks of bank not sheets. The invention also relates to a corresponding delivery shelftable for the delivery of banknotes sheets printed with a sheet-printing machine to a delivery stack. In this way, a plurality of banknote sheets are stacked on top of one another on the delivery shelftable as an intermediate stack, wherein the delivery shelftable consists of a flat base plate with an upper side and an underside, wherein the upper side is provided for receiving the intermediate stack of banknote sheetss, wherein a frame-type border is arranged on the upper side of the delivery shelftable, wherein the inner dimensions of the frame-type border or the clear width of the frame-type border are measured in such a waysuch that a paperboard sheet can be loosely placed inside the frame-type border, such that a plurality of banknote sheets can be stacked on the paperboard sheet to form an intermediate stack of banknote sheets.
