Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020015790A1] The invention relates to a spectacle frame having a central part and two spectacle arms, wherein the central part and the spectacle arms each have hinge end regions which are bent to form loops and which engage around a common hinge pin in a form-fitting manner and in a movable manner relative to one another. The invention also relates to a method for mounting spectacles. In order to provide a spectacle frame which allows an easier assembly than those according to the prior art, it is proposed within the scope of the invention that a hinge clamp is provided, which has a receptacle that can be pushed onto the end region of the central part, wherein the hinge clamp has two parallel tabs with in each case one opening, which are spaced apart in such a way that the loop of the hinge end region of the central part can be arranged therebetween, wherein the openings are aligned with the loop of the hinge end region of the central part when the hinge clamp is pushed onto the hinge end region of the central part. This hinge clamp significantly facilitates the mounting of the spectacles, since it secures the mounting of the lenses after the introduction thereof into the central part.
