[origin: US2021156190A1] The sealing tape comprises at least one base body of flexible foam capable of recovery after compression. In the area of the bottom surface of the sealing tape, an adhesive layer for bonding to a frame profile of a window or door is arranged. The sealing tape comprises a continuous barrier structure for reducing the permeability to the diffusion of water vapor and/or the permeability to air in the functional direction of the sealing tape, which barrier structure begins from at least one side surface and extends along the top surface to an area between the side surfaces, from where it then proceeds from the top surface to the bottom surface, and finally extends along a bottom surface of the at least one base body from the area between the side surfaces to at least one side surface.

Das Dichtband (2) weist mindestens einen Grundkörper (4) aus weichem, nach Komprimierung rückstellfähigem Schaumstoff auf. Im Bereich der Unterseite (6) des Dichtbands ist eine Klebeschicht (12) zur Anhaftung an einem Bauteil (14), insbesondere einem Rahmenprofil eines Fensters oder einer Tür, angeordnet. Das Dichtband weist eine durchgängige Sperrstruktur (18) zur Reduzierung der Wasserdampfdiffusionsdurchlässigkeit und/oder der Luftdurchlässigkeit in Funktionsrichtung (F) des Dichtbands auf, die sich auf der Oberseite (6) von zumindest einer Seitenflanke (10) aus bis zu einem Bereich zwischen den Seitenflanken erstreckt, dort von der Oberseite (6) in Richtung der Unterseite (8) verläuft und sich anschließend entlang einer Unterseite des mindestens einen Grundkörpers (4) von dem Bereich zwischen den Seitenflanken zu zumindest einer Seitenflanke (10) erstreckt.
