[origin: WO2020020837A1] The invention relates to a filter sleeve for smoking appliances or smoking products, consisting of a sleeve envelope and two front walls comprising an inner space accessible to a user. The accessibility allows a user to fill the inner space with filter materials and additives according to preference, and is based on an opening in the filter sleeve, which is adjacent to the filter space and can be closed by a device designated as a packing sleeve. The degree of compression of a filter material is quantified over the insertion depth of the packing sleeve in the filter sleeve, which, as such, considerably influences the smoking experience. Furthermore, holding elements allow a switch between an arrangement for use and an arrangement for transport, which also contributes to the polyvalent use of the object according to the invention. Finally, a user of the object according to the invention is able to influence a customised smoking experience in a targeted manner from both a health perspective and an enjoyment perspective.
