Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020025906A1] The device comprises a chamber (1) intended for receiving smoking tobacco, means of heating (3) said tobacco, and means (11) for evacuating smoke produced when the tobacco is heated, as well as electricity supply means (7), which permit the production of an alternating current, as well as induction means (5) suitable for producing an electromagnetic field by the action of the alternating current supplied by the electricity supply means (7), the induction means (5) being suitable for producing an increase in the temperature of the heating means (3). The fact of using electromagnetic induction has several advantages. The temperature increase is rapid and can be controlled precisely. The heating is by remote heating without contact, and thus very energy efficient. Lastly, the fact of using electromagnetic induction is safer, since only parts specifically intended to be heated and made of magnetic materials undergo the increase in temperature.
