Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020030877A2] The invention relates to a method for detecting the presence of an object or a living being in a traffic lane, said method being implemented by a detection system comprising: - a photovoltaic unit having at least one photovoltaic sensor (C_pv_i); - means for measuring an electrical variable (ICC, VOC, Impp, Vmpp) at said photovoltaic sensor; - means for processing the at least one measured electrical variable; the method involving: - a step of measuring at least one electrical variable at the photovoltaic sensor in order to obtain a measurement signal; - a step of determining variation parameters characteristic of the measurement signal obtained for the measured electrical variable; - a detection step implemented to detect the presence of a vehicle or a living being when said characteristic variation parameters are identified.
