[origin: EP3834666A1] A base seat (10) for a bed, chair or sofa includes a fixation base (20), first and second rocking mounts (30, 50), four arms (36, 37) pivotally connected between the fixation base (20) and the first rocking mount (30) such that a distance (D1) between top ends (361, 371) of each paired arms (36, 37) is smaller than a distance (D2) between bottom ends (362, 372) of the paired arms (36, 37), and another four arms (52, 54) pivotally connected between the first and second rocking mounts (30, 50) such that a distance (D3) between top ends (521, 541) of each paired arms (52, 54) is smaller than a distance (D4) between bottom ends (522, 542) of the paired arms (52, 54). First and second drive devices (40, 60) respectively drive the first and second rocking mounts (30, 50) to swing leftward and rightward relative to the fixation base (20) and forward and backward relative to the first rocking mount (30) along first and second arc paths with variable inclined angles, such that the base seat (10) has a multidirectional swinging function with desired inclined angles during swinging.
