Abstract (en)
An electrical connector (C) includes a contact-carrying body (1) and a cover assembly (2) for guiding electrical connection cables (T). The cover assembly (2) comprises a cover element (3) having a main wall (P) that defines a receiving seat (S), and a sealing element (4) arranged within the receiving seat (S). The cover assembly (2) also comprises a locking element (5) designed to lock the sealing element (4) in position, so that, in the assembled condition, the sealing element (4) is interposed between the main wall (P) and the locking element (5). The cover element (3) also includes a plurality of annular ribs (10), in such a way that the cover assembly (2) creates a sealing system to prevent water infiltration into said contact-carrying body (1).
