[origin: WO2020043569A1] The invention relates to a lighting device comprising an elongate strain relief element (7) and comprising an elongate luminous strip (3) carrying a multiplicity of electrically operable lamps (4) arranged one behind another in the direction of extent of said strip, wherein the strain relief element (7) and the luminous strip (3) in a parallel position with respect to one another are surrounded by a transparent, flexible sheath (1). According to the invention, the sheath (1) is a tube having a plurality of cavities separated from one another, wherein one cavity forms a first chamber (2), in which the luminous strip (3) is situated. The strain relief element (7) is situated in a second chamber (6). The two chambers (2, 6) are separated by at least one partition wall (13, 14).
