Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020083470A1] The invention relates to a system (1) for stabilizing an alternating voltage grid (2), comprising a power converter (3) and at least one electrical energy store (10). The invention is characterized in that the power converter is a matrix converter, which can be connected on the primary side to an m-phase alternating voltage grid and the secondary side (5) of which has an n-phase terminal, the system also comprises at least one transformer (6), which can be connected to the secondary side of the matrix converter, at least one inverter module (7) is provided, which has an alternating voltage side (8) and a direct voltage side (9), it being possible to connect the alternating voltage side to the secondary side of the matrix converter by means of the transformer, and the electrical energy store (10) can be connected to a direct voltage side of the inverter module.
