Abstract (en)

A transport climate control system is disclosed. The system includes a compressor 307, a motor-generator-rectifier machine 305, a belt drive 306 connected to the motor-generator-rectifier machine 305, the prime mover 304 and the compressor 307. The motor-generator-rectifier machine includes a motor 315, which can be driven by an AC power source 314, a low voltage generator 308 connected to the motor, and a rectifier 309 connected to the low voltage generator. The motor-generator-rectifier machine can provide a first low voltage DC power to the at least one condenser fan 310, the at least one evaporator fan 311, and the DC to DC converter 312. The DC to DC converter 312 can convert the first low voltage DC power to a second low voltage DC power that is different from the first low voltage DC power.
