[origin: WO2020049006A1] According to a method for purifying a crude gas, a liquid solvent circulating in a circuit is used, the method comprising: - compressing the crude gas; purifying the compressed gas by introducing said compressed gas into a purifier (2) which is kept under pressure, the solvent being circulated in the purifier (2) against the flow of the crude gas such that a second gas is dissolved in the solvent, a purified gas essentially comprising a first gas which is extracted from the top of the column; - regenerating the solvent collected in the purifier (2) by supplying the same to a regenerator (3) kept at a lower pressure, such that the second gas dissolved in the solvent is volatilised and extracted to form a polluting gas; - a recycling step, wherein the solvent from the regenerator (3) is supplied to the purifier (2) at the top of the column. The invention also relates to a plant which implements the purification method.
