Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020048839A1] The invention relates to an exhaust system for conducting and after-treating exhaust gases from an exhaust gas source, in particular an internal combustion engine, having a flow section (1) through which the exhaust gas can flow, at least one component (4, 5) which is provided for the after-treatment of the exhaust gas and is arranged in the flow section (1) and through which the exhaust gas can flow, and an actuator (6, 7, 9) for influencing the exhaust gas flow in the flow section (1), wherein the actuator (6, 7, 9) is in fluid communication with the gas volume in the flow section (1), as a result of which the flow direction of the exhaust gas which can flow through the flow section (1) can be influenced.
