Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Wasserablassventil mit einstellbarer Auslassgeschwindigkeit für einen Toilettenspülkasten. Das Ventil weist einen Wasserablassventilkörper (1) und einen Auslassgeschwindigkeitsregelring (2) auf, wobei der Wasserablassventilkörper (1) einen Wassereinlass (132) aufweist, der mit dem Spülkasten verbunden ist, wobei der Auslassgeschwindigkeitsregelring (2) beweglich an dem Wasserablassventilkörper (1) angebracht ist und wobei sich eine Wasserdurchlassfläche des Wassereinlasses (132) ändert, wenn sich die Position des Auslassgeschwindigkeitsregelrings (2) relativ zu dem Wasserablassventilkörper (1) ändert. Die Auslassgeschwindigkeit des Wasserablassventils kann damit durch den Benutzer selbst eingestellt werden.
