Cet escalier de véhicule (4), comprend :- une cage d'escalier présentant un plancher inférieur (16), un plancher supérieur (18), une cloison latérale extérieure et une cloison latérale intérieure,- au moins un module d'escalier (8) comportant une pluralité de marches (20) s'étendant chacune depuis la cloison latérale intérieure jusqu'à la cloison latérale extérieure, le ou les modules d'escalier (8) s'étendant depuis le plancher inférieur (16) jusqu'au plancher supérieur (18).L'escalier (4) comprend un module structurel (10) s'étendant dans une région centrale de la cage d'escalier (6) entre la cloison latérale extérieure et la cloison latérale intérieure, le module structurel (10) étant indépendant de la cloison latérale extérieure et de la cloison latérale intérieure, le module structurel (10) comprenant une pluralité d'organes de maintien de marche (22), au moins trois marches (20) d'au moins un module d'escalier (8) étant chacune supportée par un des organes de maintien de marche (22).
