Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020057769A1] A device for re-profiling and deburring rails (2, 3) consists of a frame that can be placed against the rails (2, 3) on both sides thereof, in which frame a tool is held adjustably in the direction of the rails (2, 3) for the purpose of machining. Adjustment movements are configured in the form of a first translational movement in the axial direction of the tool, a second translational movement in the horizontal plane and a third rotational movement about an axis extending parallel to the rail longitudinal direction. In order to produce the second translational movement, a frame-like carrier (6) is mounted in the outer frame so as to be able to slide in the direction of the arrows (5), wherein in order to produce said rotational movement a tool slide supporting the tool is movable along two arcuate guides which extend in parallel vertical planes spaced from one another and which are arranged on the carrier, thus resulting in a pivoting movement about the axis extending parallel to the rail longitudinal direction.
