Beschrieben werden ein Verfahren zum Aufspritzen von Kaltleim auf Etiketten, ein Etikettieraggregat für Behälter und eine damit ausgestattete Etikettiermaschine. Demnach werden Paletten durch den Arbeitsbereich eines Druckkopfs mit rasterförmig angeordneten Spritzdüsen transportiert, und der Kaltleim wird dabei von den Spritzdüsen auf an den Paletten ausgebildete Etikettenanlageflächen abgegeben. Dadurch, dass für den Bereich des Druckkopfs ein Arbeitsdruck des Kaltleims von 0,1 bis 10 bar eingestellt wird und man die Abgabe des Kaltleims mittels den Spritzdüsen einzeln zugeordneter elektromagnetischer Ventile steuert, lässt sich die Zuverlässigkeit der Beleimung insbesondere gegenüber piezoelektrischen Düsensystem erhöhen, die Leimversorgung vereinfachen und die Etikettierung flexibel an unterschiedliche Anforderungen bezüglich zu beleimender Etiketten und zu etikettierender Behälter anpassen.
