The present invention relates to a device (1) for containing two-component composition comprising a first component (12) and a second component (52), kept separate from one another prior to use. The device is configured to enable a user to mix the two components while the device is in a closed state, providing a two-component composition.In particular, the invention relates to a device useful in the treatment and prevention of imminent myocardial infarction by providing an aqueous solution of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) for ingestion.
