[origin: WO2020064760A1] The invention relates to an assembly (1) for protecting a sensor/transmitter (13) of a driving assistance system for a motor vehicle (100), comprising a protection device (3) at least partially surrounding a sensor/transmitter (13), the protection device (3) comprising a first subassembly (B) comprising a detection/transmission element (9) positioned facing a surface of the sensor/transmitter (13) via which a signal passes, and a second subassembly (C) comprising a motor (5) configured to drive the first subassembly (B) in rotation about a line of transmission/reception (15) of the sensor/transmitter (13). According to the invention, the protection assembly (1) comprises at least one heating element (12) controlled by a control unit (10) to heat at least one accessory (7) attached to the body of the motor vehicle in the vicinity of the detection/transmission element, the heating element (12) being on the outside of the protection device (3) and in the vicinity of the first subassembly (B).
