Abstract (en)

[origin: CA3107915A1] The invention relates to a water-conducting joint sealing strip, which can be universally used for different profile dimensions, for sealing building joints, in particular for sealing against sound and/or smoke and, where appropriate, against fire. In particular, a joint sealing strip for sealing a joint between a first component and a second component is described, comprising an elongate connection element and at least two sealing elements, which are positioned next to one another on the connection element so as to be spaced apart and extend in the longitudinal direction of the connection element. The sealing elements and the connection element consist as a single piece of an open-cell, slow-burning foam and are encased in a plastics film. The joint sealing strip is characterised in that there is at least one opening in the plastics film on the underside of the particular sealing element. The invention further relates to a water-conducting sealing arrangement for sealing building joints, in particular for sealing against sound and/or smoke and, where appropriate, against fire, having a joint sealing strip of this type.
