[origin: GB2577332A] The tile support apparatus 100 comprises an elongate bar and mounted on respective ends of columns 20. The columns are independently height adjustable by means of respective actuators 28 . The apparatus also includes a levelling device. Each column may comprise an inner rod and outer tube, the actuator moves the tube longitudinally with respect to the rod and may be a trigger type lever. Also claimed is a kit comprising the parts to make the tile support apparatus. Also claimed is a method of tiling a downwardly facing surface, such as the reveal area around a window, by applying adhesive to a surface and placing tiles on the surface and then supporting the tiles using the the support apparatus. Also claimed is a method of temporarily supporting a tile.
