[origin: WO2020067894A2] When repairing or reinforcing a wooden pole (1) that is at least partly present under water (3), first, a casing (5) is arranged around an affected part (7) of the pole. Subsequently, on the underside of the casing, the space (9) between the casing (5) and the pole (1) is sealed and then this space (9) between the casing (5) and the said part (7) of the pole (1) is filled with an epoxy (11). When applying the casing (5) around the pole (1), first a casing part open on one side with a U-shaped cross section is slid in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the post (1), and then closed with a plate (14) the open side of the casing part (5a) wherein the plate is attached to the side edges of the casing part.
