Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020064824A1] The invention relates to a matrix light source designed to be supplied with electrical voltage and having a plurality of elementary light sources with an electroluminescent semiconductor element and a common substrate in contact with an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes, for each elementary light source, a switch device allowing it to be selectively connected to a source of electrical voltage as a function of a first control signal. The substrate comprises, for at least one of the elementary light sources, a circuit for detecting a fault in an open circuit of the elementary light source.
