[origin: WO2020069893A1] The invention relates to a suction device (1) for a core drilling device, said suction device comprising a housing (4) which has at least one cavity (7) and which has a cover (2) and a wall (3) connected to the cover (2) around the periphery thereof. A suction connection piece (5) connected to the housing (4) is provided which is designed to attach the suction device (1) to a suction means. The wall (3) has at least one inlet opening (44, 45) via which the cavity (7) is connected to the surroundings (U). On a side of the wall (3) facing away from the cavity (7), a sealing device (50, 51) is connected to the housing (4), said sealing device being displaceable between a non-usage position substantially in contact with the wall (3) of the housing (4) and a usage position pivoted about an axis of rotation (57, 58) relative to the non-usage position.
