[origin: WO2020069807A1] The invention concerns a method and a device for serving a multiplicity of production positions for filaments of a melt spinning device and/or a textile machine device. This involves transmitting at least one item of serving information by at least one central control unit to an operator in such a way that first one of a number of transceiver stations that are respectively assigned to one of a number of groups of production positions is determined. The item of serving information is transmitted to the transceiver station of the respective group of production positions and passed on from there to one of a number of mobile message receivers. After arrival of the serving information, confirmation that it has been received is initiated by the operator at the message receiver. The serving device has for this purpose a plurality of transceiver stations, which are connected to the control device via a network and which can each be connected to a number of message receivers via a radio link.
