[origin: WO2020069924A1] The invention relates to a security label (1) for a multi-part vessel (40) comprising a first label section (10), which is designed to be fastened to a first part (41) of the vessel (40), and a second label section (20), which is designed to encircle a second part (42) of the vessel (40) when the security label (1) has been applied to the vessel (40), such that the security label (1), at a free end (26) of the second label section (20) facing away from the first label section (10), is sealed in itself along an edge line (27). The two label sections (10, 20) each form a respective adjacent part of a common material web. The security label (1) further comprises a separating element (32), which is arranged between the first and the second label sections (10, 20) relative to a longitudinal axis (L) of the security label (1), such that when the vessel (40) to which the security label (1) has been applied is opened, the security label (1) can be separated in a predetermined manner by the separating element (32) and the second label section (20) together with the second part (42) of the vessel (40) can be removed from the first label section (10) and the first part (41) of the vessel (40).
