According to the invention, the windowed areas (16) comprise micro-windows (20) produced during the paper-making process, having an edge (22) produced during the paper-making process and characteristic irregularities, and the width (bM) thereof transversely to the direction of the thread represents less than 50% of the width of the thread (bF) and is between 0.2 mm and 4 mm.

Die Erfindung betrifft Entwässerungssiebe für die Herstellung von Sicherheitspapier mit einem Fenstersicherheitsfaden, der nach seiner Einbettung an zumindest einer Oberfläche des Sicherheitspapiers in vorbestimmten Fensterbereichen des Sicherheitspapiers sichtbar ist. Ein erfindungsgemäßes Entwässerungssieb umfasst ein Trägersieb, das in einem Teilbereich mit einem Spritzgusseinsatz versehen ist, der ein Relief mit sich von einem Grundkörper nach oben erstreckenden und die Oberfläche des Trägersiebs überragenden Motivelementen aufweist, die in Form der vorbestimmten Fensterbereiche des Sicherheitspapiers, in denen der Fenstersicherheitsfaden sichtbar sein soll, ausgebildet sind und wobei die Motivelemente zur Erzeugung von Mikrofenstern Mikromotivelemente umfassen, die quer zur Laufrichtung des einzubettenden Fadens eine Breite aufweisen, die weniger als 50% der Fadenbreite beträgt und zwischen 0,2 mm und 4 mm liegt.
