[origin: WO2020074734A1] The present invention concerns a method for manufacturing a solid formulation (10, 40, 60) for oral administration, comprising an edible substrate portion (12) on which a composition (14) is deposited comprising an active pharmaceutical ingredient. The method comprises the following steps: providing a liquid formulation comprising the active ingredient and a solvent; then spraying the liquid formulation onto the substrate (12) and evaporating the solvent, so as to form the solid composition (14); dividing the substrate into a plurality of portions, such that each portion supports a quantity of active ingredient corresponding to a predetermined value; and, after the spraying step, measuring the quantity of active ingredient supported by each portion and comparing with the predetermined value; the measurement being non-destructive to the solid formulation.
