[origin: WO2020074233A1] The invention relates to a textile machine (100) having an operating section (103 which is configured to receive and to hold operating elements of the textile machine (100). Furthermore, the textile machine (100) comprises a fixing section (3, 4, 6; 124; 131) and a closing section (120); the closing section (120) covers the operating element towards the outside in reference to the rest of the textile machine (100) when in a closed position and is fitted by one end to the fixing section (3, 4, 6; 124; 131) such that the closing section can be pivoted away freely about an axis of rotation from the closed position into an open position and back. The textile machine (100) additionally comprises gas pressure springs (10), which are attached by one end (11) to a stationary part (131) of the textile machine and by the other end (12) to the closing section (120). The gas pressure springs (10), viewed in the rotational plane transverse to the axis of rotation of the closing section (120), are arranged symmetrically in relation to the closing section (120) such that the gas pressure springs limit pivoting of the closing section (120), such that a centre of gravity of the closing section (120), in the opening direction, is located at least outside the opening position of the closing section (120) in front of the axis of rotation of the closing section (120) and, in the open position, is also located in front of the axis of rotation of the closing section (120) or in the direction of gravity on a line with the axis of rotation of the closing section (120).
