[origin: WO2020078588A1] The present invention concerns a method and a facility 1 for supplying fresh water to a coastal area. In the method according to the invention, a collection tower 120 is constructed from reinforced concrete or double-skinned steel specifically to be transported and installed above a freshwater resurgence 100 in a marine environment. The invention thus proposes a particularly simple and efficient method and facility 1 for supplying freshwater to a coastal area without generating environmental harm.
