[origin: WO2021104578A1] The invention relates, inter alia, to a locking connection assembly, comprising a groove strip (300) and a tongue strip (200). It is desirable to have available a maximally flexible solution for establishing a releasable connection which is universally usable and by means of which as many freely selectable components (203, 303) as possible can be interconnected. In addition, the mounting and orienting of said components (203, 303) should be easy. Therefore, according to the invention the cross-sections of the tongue (201) and of the groove (301) are mutually corresponding as a result of the use of locking elements, such that a locking connection can be established between the tongue (201) and the groove (301), which locking connection allows movement of the tongue strip (200) relative to the groove strip (300) or movement of the groove strip (300) relative to the tongue strip (200). However, movement perpendicular to one of the two longitudinal directions is prevented. In addition, a locking cavity (205) for locking to the extension (102) of an extension strip (100) extends along and within the tongue (201), said extension strip acting as a securing mechanism. The invention therefore provides a flexible solution for preferably securely interconnecting the components (203, 303).
