[origin: WO2020077373A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) for mounting an attachment (2) on the muzzle end (3) of a firearm, which attachment has at least two diametric recesses (10) in its outer circumference, the device comprising: a sleeve (5) which can be slid onto the muzzle end (3) and has an axial-normal opening (7); a mounting piece (11) which can be connected to the attachment (2) and has a tubular extension (12) which can be inserted into an annular space between the muzzle end (3) and the sleeve (5) and can be screw-fastened to the sleeve (5); and a locking element (6) which is radially displaceable in the opening (7) of the sleeve (5) between a closed position, in which its two legs (8) engage in one of the recesses (10) each with an inwardly directed rib (9), and an open position, which is released from the recesses (10). When the locking element (6) is in the closed position, end sections (15) of the legs (8) fit under the extension (12) inserted into the annular space.
