[origin: WO2020078824A1] An electrical contact element (1) for electrical contacting with a counterpart contact element (2) comprises a multiplicity of contact lamellae (11), which lamellae are arranged around a plug-in opening (15) into which a counterpart contact element (2) can be plugged in along a plugging-in direction (E) and which lamellae form a groove (13) which encircles the contact lamellae (11) around the plugging-in direction (E). A spring element (14) is arranged at the groove (13) and engages around the contact lamellae (11) in order to provide an elastic clamping force on the contact lamellae (11). The contact lamellae (11) each have an inner surface (117) which faces toward the plug-in opening (15) and which is of straight form in a cross section transverse with respect to the plugging-in direction (E).
