A packing device for the sliced foodstuff (12) in block form is located inside the housing, said packing device having at least one bag opener (34) and at least one store for bags (30). A bag (30) provided by the store for bags can be held open, at least in the region of the bag opening, by the bag opener (34). According to the invention, the store for bags (30) is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the slicing blade so that the cut slices (20) can be pushed gradually into the bag (30).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schneidmaschine für strangförmige Lebensmittel (12) mit einem Gehäuse mit einem Einlegebereich für das strangförmige Lebensmittel (12) und mit einem Entnahmebereich für das geschnittene strangförmige Lebensmittel (24). Zur Aufnahme des strangförmigen Lebensmittels (12) ist ein Schacht (10.4) vorgesehen, dessen Längsrichtung der Vorschubrichtung des strangförmigen Lebensmittels (12) entspricht. Innerhalb des Gehäuses ist eine Verpackungseinrichtung für das geschnittene strangförmige Lebensmittel (12) vorhanden, die zumindest einen Tütenöffner (86) und zumindest ein Vorratslager für Tüten (30.4) aufweist. Eine durch das Vorratslager für Tüten bereitgestellte Tüte (30.4) kann durch den Tütenöffner (86) zumindest im Bereich der Tütenöffnung aufgehalten werden. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Schacht (10.4) abgewinkel ausgebildet. Darüber hinaus ist ein verschieblicher Scheibenhalter (88) in Vorschubrichtung gesehen hinter der Tüte (30.4) vorhanden, durch den die Tüte (30.4) in ihrer Längsausdehnung gestaucht werden kann.
