[origin: EP3871534A1] The present invention provides technology for improving decreases in user experience that can occur when the power supply of an electronic device such as an aerosol generation device is not sufficiently charged. An electronic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a control unit 402 and a heating unit 40 that heats an aerosol generation base material 110 by power supplied from a power supply 21. The control unit 402 is configured so that power is not supplied from the power supply 21 to the heating unit 40 when the voltage of the power supply 21 is less than a threshold voltage indicating that there is sufficient capacity remaining in the power supply 21 to use up one piece of unused aerosol generation base material 110.
