Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Konditionieren der Oberfläche eines mit einer Zinklegierungskorrosionsschutzschicht beschichteten Metallbandes, welches einer Temperaturerhöhung zur Veränderung des Gefüges des Metalls unterworfen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dassnach dem Verzinken des Metallbandes und vor der Temperaturerhöhung zum Zwecke der Gefügeänderung des Metallbandes Zinn auf die Oberfläche aufgebracht wird.
